Rams Host Home Invite at Bolstad Golf Club

FALCON HEIGHTS, Minn.-- Women's Golf played host to six teams for their home invitational on Tuesday. The teams enjoyed warm but clear conditions at Les Bolstad Golf Course, also the home facility of the University of Minnesota.

North Central was led by junior Rebekah Winkel (Kansas City, Mo./Oak Park) who shot a season-low round to finish tied for 22. Senior Amanda Roth (Appleton, Wis./Neenah) was next for NCU, finishing 24th.

Freshmen Carolyn Williamson (Zion, Ill./Christian Life) and Anna Bunce (Savage, Minn./Burnsville) rounded out the scoring with 25th and 26th place respective finishes.

The Rams finished fifth as a team out of five full squads. The University of Northwestern (St. Paul, Minn.) won the team title while Kelsey Wattenhofer of Minnesota-Morris took home individual medalist honors.

North Central will be off from competition until September 26 when they travel to Francis Gross National Golf Course (Minneapolis, Minn.) for the University of Northwestern Invitational. Tee times are scheduled for 11 a.m.
