Meadows begins his 13th year in the NCU Athletics Department for 2018-2019. He serves as the Men's and Women's Cross Country Head Coach and Track & Field Assistant Coach for the Rams. He ran for four seasons in the NCU Cross Country and Track programs (2001-2004) where he was an All-Conference Track performer during his senior season.

In 2013, Meadows was named the 2013 NCCAA Men’s Cross Country Division II National Coach of the Year. During his eight years at the helm of the cross country and track programs, NCU has won six NCCAA Division II Men's Cross Country National Championships (2006, 2007, 2009-2011, 2013), and in the fall of 2012 he led the NCU Women's Cross Country team to an eighth straight NCCAA Division II National Championship. Also during his coaching tenure, 42 Rams athletes have been named NCCAA Track or Cross Country All-Americans with 10 of those earning Individual Event National Titles.

In four years of Upper Midwest Athletic Conference membership (since 2009) Meadows has coached 16 All-UMAC cross country athletes, including the 2009 Men's Individual Champion (Daniel Bare).

Additionally, 91 cross country and track athletes have been named Academic All-Conference since 2009 along with 46 NCCAA National Scholar Athletes.

Coach Meadows holds his M. Ed. in Applied Kinesiology and is a certified USATF Level One Coach. He currently resides in Minneapolis, with his wife, Allison, and one-year-old son, Quade.
