Ohman Leads Rams at St. John's Invitational

SAUK CENTER, Minn.-- North Central University Men's Golf finished strong on the second day of the St. John's Invitational on Sunday to help cement a 17th place team finish in the outstanding field of top NCAA Division III teams. NCU dropped five strokes off their Saturday round to help keep the pace in tournament played at Blackberry Ridge (Sartell, Minn.) and Greystone Golf Club (Sauk Center, Minn.) on Saturday and Sunday.

Freshman Brady Ohman (Grand Forks, N.D./Red River) continues to be a steady force for the Rams as he shot a two-day 152 (+8), including a 74 (+2) on Sunday, to earn a tie for 19th place overall. His season stroke average is at 78 and stands as the leading number for NCU thus far on the year.

Senior Daniel Johnson (Grand Forks, N.D./Home School) and freshmen Colin Blonski (Sartell, Minn./Sartell) and Lukas Olson (Sauk Rapids, Minn./Sauk Rapids) rounded out the scoring four for NCU on the day.

North Central will be back in action again this Friday at the Bethany Lutheran College Invitational at Interlachen Golf Club (Edina, Minn.). Tee times begin at 12:30 p.m.
