Men's Golf Takes Third at NCU Invitational

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn.-- North Central Men's Golf opened their season by taking third place at their home invitational on Friday afternoon at Eagles Landing Golf Course. Freshman Brady Ohman tied for medalist honors in his first college golf match.

Just five strokes separated first place from third as Bethany Lutheran College (Mankato, Minn.) won the match with a 320 (+32). Minnesota-Morris was second with a 322 and the Rams shot a 325 to take third.

Brady Ohman (Grand Forks, N.D./Red River) tied for medalist honors in his first college match by shooting a 75 (+3) on the day. Ohman was a two time all conference golfer at Red River High School and also earned all-state honors his junior season.

Senior Daniel Johnson (Grand Forks, N.D.) was part of a three-way tie for fifth place with a 79 (+7).

Freshman Joshua Hostetler (Bondurant, Iowa/Bondurant-Farrar) earned a top 20 leader board finish in his first college match with an 85 (+13) that tied him for 17th.

North Central will be away from competition until next Tuesday when they play in the Northwestern College Invitational.
