Jon High is in his tenth year as the Head Men's Basketball Coach at North Central University. During his time at NCU the men's basketball teams have claimed seven NCCAA North Central Region Titles. Additionally, his teams have qualified for Upper Midwest Athletic Conference postseason playoffs three of the last five years.

Before coming to NCU, High was a Sports Managment Professor and Head Basketball Coach at Crown College (St. Bonifacius, Minn.). He led the Storm to the 2008 NCCAA Regional Title. High also served as the Director of Athletics and head men's basketball coach at Faith Baptist Bible College (Ankeny, Iowa) from 2000-2006. At North Central, he led the Rams athletic department for five years before transitioning into a full-time sport management faculty role in the fall of 2014.

Prior to joining the college ranks, High coached and taught for six years at Fourth Baptist High School in Plymouth, MN. Over the last 25 years, Coach High has organized and directed summer basketball camps around the upper Midwest, including many with the Minnesota Timberwolves. In 1993, High completed his Master's of Sports Science Degree from the United States Sports Academy. He earned his Bachelor of Science in secondary education at Pillsbury Baptist Bible College in 1990 where he was a four-year letter winner in both basketball and soccer. During his senior season he was recognized as an NCCAA All-American in both sports.

Coach High lives with his wife Amy in Minneapolis. They have three adult children: Josh, Jamie, and Jared. In his spare time he enjoys golfing, riding bike, and being active.
