Volleyball Travels to Trinity Bible College Looking for Momentum
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn.-- North Central Women's Volleyball will hit the road on Friday for the two day Trinity Bible College Tournament Classic. North Central opened the season with a series of tough opponents and has yet to claim its first win of the year, but recent narrow losses have the Rams believing this is the weekend they will pick up momentum and their first wins of the year.
Friday evening NCU will open tournament playwith a match verses Oak Hills Christian College (Bemidji, Minn.) of the Association of Chrisitan College Athletics (ACCA) at 1 p.m. NCU next battles Dawson Community College (Glendive, Mont.) in a 3 p.m. match. Friday's play wraps up with the Rams battling NCCAA DII regional opponent Providence College (Otterburne, Manitoba) in the 7 p.m. slot.
Saturday North Central will face host and NCCAA DII region rival Trinity Bible College in their final round robin match up of the weekend.The tournament will conclude with a seeded playoff based on team standings after round robin play. First round matches will take place at 9 a.m. and semi finals will be played at 11 a.m. The championship match will take place at 1 p.m.
