Nate has played or coached soccer almost continuously since he was 4 years old and played college soccer at North Central from 1999 through the 2002 season. In 2002 Kemper was named an NCCAA DII Honorable Mention All-American Goalkeeper after an outstanding senior season. He the NCU record holder for season goals against average and victories.
During the 2003 season, Nate stayed on at North Central as an Assistant Coach while finishing his Pastoral Studies degree. After taking a job as a youth pastor at a local church he then began to coach high school freshman and help out occasionally as a goalie specialist at the college level.
While in graduate school, Nate worked as a referee and continued coaching at the high school level. Nate is employed as a Young Adults Pastor here in the cities and is excited to be working with college athletes again. He resides in Brooklyn Park with his wife Jenny.
